In the winter time, having smoothies for breakfast can be difficult. We crave more warming foods in the winter, versus raw foods. But, by having warming ingredients in your smoothie, you can balance a nutritious smoothie, with the cold of the winter. This recipe was a big hit at our WITHINSIGHT 2014 Fall Seminar.
2 cup spinach
1/2 cup cilantro
1/4 cup coconut milk (real coconut milk, not a fortified one)
3 strawberries (frozen or fresh)
3 cubes of mango (frozen or fresh)
1 inch cube of ginger
1 scoop protein powder (whey free)
1 cup of water
- Place all ingredients in a blender, magic bullet or nutribullet
- Blend and drink!
