Brussel Sprouts are part of the Cruciferous family of vegetables, like Kale. Try this quick easy side dish to go with your main dishes.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts

1 lb brussel sprouts

1 medium onion sliced

Coarse sea salt


2 tbsp coconut oil melted


  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut the end stub off of each brussel sprout and wash.
  3. Mix your brussel sprouts and onions together and toss with coconut oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Roast in the oven for 30 minutes or until the brussel sprouts are soft.
